Advantages of Tithing

God demands us to give back ten percent of everything that he has given to us. When we tithe, it is a sign of obedience, trust and love to our creator. When we obey God by tithing, he makes sure that our stores never run dry of provision for all the things we need and want. This is one time God asks you to test him. This sounds very good. I can assure you that the times I have tested him in tithing, I have never been disappointed. He has been faithful and takes care of all the things I need and desire.

When you obey God in tithing, it is a sure way to assure him that even when he blesses you with much, you will still honor him. God always wants to be put first in our lives. Giving ten percent of what we get to him shows that we think of him first before our needs. When we put him first, he will also put our needs and desires first. He will make sure that we have all and more than we have ever desired.

God tells us in the book of Malachi3:10 that when we tithe he rebukes the devourer on our behalf. No more will our businesses go down or we lose our jobs. The kingdom of God's principals work for us. We get favored in places we could not imagine. Our expertise and services are required by people who we don't even know how they got to know us. We also have peace knowing that we are not robbing God. It feels good to know that you are doing what God instructs you too.

Jesus died to redeem from the curse of the law and Christians are dead to law. You cannot claim Calvary blessings for law-obedience.

Galatians 3:10 effectively replaces Malachi 3:10. Gal 3:10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." NIV

The whole law was a test --not just tithing. Keep ALL to be blessed; break ONE to be cursed.

NT post-Calvary giving is sacrificial. That means more than 10% for many and less for others.
